OVERVIEW

Israel has a rich history from pre biblical times. It is the birth place of the Judaism and Christianity and hence often called a part of the “Holy Land” along with Egypt and Jordan. In Israel one will find the breath-taking beauty of its hills and valleys, the eerie stillness of the Dead Sea, the multi-coloured canyon of Makhtesh Ramon and the ancient walls and pathways of Nazareth and Jerusalem.
On the other hand Jorden is probably the most appealing destination in the Middle East. This ancient Arab kingdom is a hospitable land packed with the epic scenery and momentous relics. Jordan has delighted visitors for centuries with its World Heritage Sites, friendly towns and inspiring desert landscapes.
We have made the itinerary for 12 nights and 13 days to cover most of the famous spots in this tour package, which we hope would make you always smile while travelling miles with us. During this trip we will stay 3 nights in Amman, 1 night in Petra, 1 night in Wadi Rum, 1 night in Aqaba, 6 nights in Jerusalem.

DAY 00: DEPART FROM KOLKATA

Welcome to your "Miles with Smiles"- Israel and Jorden Fusion Tour.
Take flight form Netaji Subhas International Airport, Kolkata. And the next day by afternoon you will reach Amman through a connecting flight.

DAY 01: ARRIVAL AT ALIA AIRPORT (AMMAN)
Amman, the capital of Jordan, is a fascinating city of contrasts - a unique blend of old and new, ideally situated on a hilly area between the desert and the fertile Jordan Valley.
Upon arrival in Amman you will be met by our representative and transferred to the hotel. Check-in at the hotel and relax.
Rest of the day you can spend at your own leisure or you may visit few nearby places by your own.

Today after breakfast we will proceed for the Amman City sightseeing tour. We will start our tour with a visit to the King Abdulla Mosque which was completed in 1989 as a memorial by the late King Hussein to his grandfather. This is the only Mosque in Amman that openly welcomes non-Muslim visitors. Then pay a visit to the Amman Citadel located 132 meters above the level of the City Centre. South of the castle we can still see the ruins of Hercules temple. Also there is Umayyad palace. The adventure continues then with exploring the Roman Amphitheatre which is considered one of the largest in the Middle East. Its construction dates back to the beginning of the second Century AD. Then take a walk in Amman’s downtown markets and City center before heading to the Archaeological Museum and Darat al Fnoun which aims to provide a platform for the visual arts from the Arab World.
After exploring the city return to the hotel.

Today after breakfast we will head off for a day trip to Jerash, Ajloun and Umm Qais from Amman. First, we will drive to Jerash which will take about 50 minutes to reach. Jerash -situated in the foothills of the mountain of Gilead, the ancient city is reminiscent of the Roman Empire. Being one of the largest and well-preserved sites of Roman Architecture outside of Italy its grandeur can be seen in the colonnaded streets, the Nymphaeum and the Temple of Artemis.
Then we will drive through a scenic vista of pine trees and olive groves, arriving at the Castle of Ajloun. Resting atop mount Ajloun the beautiful marvel of Islamic architecture was built during the 12th century by Salah El-din. Then we will head off to Umm Qais, which belonged to the famous Decapolis, a union of 10 cities, founded by Alexander the Great. Here you will enjoy an overwhelming view of the north Jordan Valley, the Golan Heights and the Sea of Galilee.
After the trip we will be back to the hotel in Amman.

Today after breakfast we will check-out from the hotel and drive to Petra (3 hrs.). Considered the jewel in Jordan’s crown- Petra is a wondrous sight. Enter Petra through the Siq, a rocky passage leading to the ruins officially named one of the Seven Modern Wonders of the World.

Pass the hours marvelling at sights like Qasr Al-Bint, the magnificent Treasury, and the Royal Tombs. After exploring the city we will check-in into the hotel and relax.

Today after breakfast we will check-out from the hotel and drive to Wadi Rum (1hr 44 mins). On arrival check-in at the Beduin Camp. Later we will head off for the sightseeing tour of the Wadi Rum. The brilliantly colored sands and stark rock formations of Jordan’s Wadi Rum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, make the desert wilderness a must-visit for most travellers to Jordan. In the tour we will visit sights like - the Burdah Rock Bridge, a natural arch, the Khazali Siq, the scarlet Al Hasany Dunes etc.
After the sightseeing tour return at the hotel and relax.

Today after breakfast we will drive to Aqaba (1hr). Upon arrival check-in at the hotel and relax for a while. Later, head out for the Aqaba city tour. Aqaba is a microcosm of all the good things Jordan has to offer, including a fascinating history with some outstanding sites, excellent hotels and activities, superb visitor facilities, good shopping and welcoming, friendly people. In the Aqaba city tour we will visit the places like-Aqaba Mamluk Fortress and Aqaba Museum. Then we will visit the Aqaba Aquarium at the Marine Science Station Complex, to see colourful shoals of beautiful fish and others.
After the city tour come back at the hotel and relax.

Today after breakfast we will proceed to explore Bethlehem. An ancient city in the West Bank, Bethlehem is home to many significant religious sites. First, we will visit the Church of the Nativity and Manger Square, thought to be the place where Jesus was born. The ancient structure and adjoining Franciscan Church of St. Catherine are incredible to walk through. Other sights that we will visit are Rachel's tomb, the Mosque of Omar, the Milk Grotto Chapel and others. At last we will visit the market area as Bethlehem’s Old City is fun to wander through with shops, open markets, and beautiful architecture.
After exploring Bethlehem return at the hotel in Jerusalem and relax.

Today after breakfast we will head off for an exciting tour to Dead Sea. The Dead Sea known in Hebrew as Yam Ha-Melakh (the Sea of Salt) is the lowest point on earth, surrounded by the stunning landscape of the Negev Desert. The shores of the Dead Sea are the lowest point on the surface of the earth, and the saline water of the lake give lead to the name ‘Dead Sea’ because no fish can survive in the salty waters. The other result of the salty water of the Dead Sea is their renowned health and healing properties and the unique feature that one can float naturally in them.
After having a relaxing day we will come back to the hotel and relax.

Today after breakfast we will proceed for the sightseeing tour of Jerusalem. In its thousands of years of history, Jerusalem, a place of major importance to three main religions – Judaism, Christianity and Islam, has seen countless conquests and destruction, triumphs and disasters. Discover sites such as 'The Western Wall', the holiest site in Judaism; The Church of the Holy Sepulchre, where Jesus was crucified and see a view of the impressive Al-Aqsa Mosque, the third holiest site in Islam. These places are located in the 'Old City', an extraordinary walled city, filled with unique buildings, narrow passageways, bustling markets and a mix of cultures and languages.
Outside the walls of the Old City lies modern-day Jerusalem, a vibrant and dynamic place filled with bustling restaurants, cafes and cultural life.

Today after breakfast we will drive to Tel Aviv (1 hr 15 mins) for a day trip. Upon arrival get indulge with the sights .The White City of Tel Aviv is the highlight of Tel Aviv’s Architecture boasting the greatest collection of Bauhaus style buildings in the world, and recognized by UNESCO as a result, with over 4,500 amazing buildings. The city also has some beautiful eclectic style buildings, as well as modern buildings – ranging from skyscrapers to cultural complexes which sit peacefully in between. At last, stroll around the ancient port city of Jaffa.
After exploring Tel Aviv we will back to the hotel.

Today after an early breakfast we will head off for a Full-day trip from Jerusalem to Nazareth (2 hrs. drive), Tiberias and the Sea of Galilee.
Upon arrival we will visit the Holy Land sites of Nazareth city, described in the New Testament as the childhood home of Jesus. We will see popular Holy Land sites like the Basilica of the Annunciation and Mt Tabor, the site of the Transfiguration of Jesus etc.
At the Sea of Galilee, we will see where Jesus performed miracles and walk the shores where he first taught his followers.
After, the trip we will return to the hotel in Jerusalem.

Today after breakfast we will check-out from the hotel and proceed for Alia Airport in Amman. By afternoon we will reach there and have our lunch.
Later, take the flight for your home town as this fantastic tour comes to an end and the next day you will reach your place.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

a)Granting of Visa is subject to the sole discretion of the embassy/consulate. We only act as facilitator. It is necessary that you have the valid passport which is valid for at least six months after your return to India as well as the required documents.

b)Before taking tour with us, we would presume that you are medically fit enough to enjoy our tour programmes. It shall be your duty to inform us in writing if you have any medical problem that can affect your tour programme or of your fellow passengers.

c)You will have the sole responsibility of all your baggage, belongings, currency, documents, valuables, personal belongings etc. all times during the tour.

d)We will not be responsible for any flight cancellation, offloading, delay or rescheduling of airline services.

e)Standard meals will be offered as per itinerary. We cannot guarantee special meals for infants, children or passengers with medical problems though we will try our best to provide the same. We cannot also guarantee the quality of food during the tour as we have to take them from different hotels/ restaurants/outlets under varied conditions.

f)Any cancellation should be informed to us in writing. In case of cancellations, a charge would be applied on you. In such case following charges would be applicable on you

Prior to 60 days of Departure 25% of tour price other than airfare
Prior to 30 days of Departure 50% of tour price other than airfare
Prior to 15 days of Departure 100% of tour price other than airfare

There will be a GST @ 18% on all cancellation charges.

g)The itinerary might be altered/amended/changed before or during the tour for circumstances beyond our control. However, the same would be made with prior notice to you.

h)"Infant" means who has not completed 2 years on the date of return to India.
"Child" means who has not completed 12years on the date of return to India.
"Adult" means who has completed 12 years on the date of return to India.

i)Allotment of seats and hotel rooms would be at the absolute discretion of the tour operator.
